It’s the perfect place to take the family for lunch Simple offerings such as sandwich’s become a treat that should be savored. The ‘Cajun Chicken Sandwich’ is noteworthy. Dinner choices such as the ‘Port Lamb Chops’ which is prepared using New Zealand lamb seared in a port wine sauce make every sitting an adventure. The wine list is not extensive – but what there is has been chosen with great care. Excellent value for money.

Located in Roanoke this Mediterranean delight is within easy reach of Forest. This is Middle Eastern inspired food at its best. Great atmosphere and friendly staff really make dining at this restaurant an absolute pleasure. It certainly does not hurt that the food is prepared with a deft and authentic touch. All the favorites are available. Hummus, kabobs and pita wraps are only some of the stars from the menu. The lamb rib chops are also a treat and do not ignore the Shawarma. Incredible value for money making it the ideal family-friendly dining destination.
3. The Red Lobster.
Recommending the Red Lobster as a choice dining destination seems a bit odd – it’s a chain restaurant and is certainly not known for fine dining. But as a value for money family dining option, it is one of the best options in the Forest area (in fact in any area). Quality is good, the menu is vast and the kids will love it. The famous Cheddar Bay Biscuits add to the attraction.
